The Flood Warning continues for the Big Black River at west * until further notice. * At 8:45 PM Tuesday the stage was 20.2 feet. * Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * Flood stage is 15.0 feet. * Forecast...the river is near crest and should begin a very slow fall early in the morining.

The Flood Warning continues for the yockanookany river near Kosciusko * until Thursday evening. * At 8:45 PM Tuesday the stage was 15.1 feet. * Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * Flood stage is 15.0 feet. * Forecast...the river is cresting and will hold steady for the next day. * Impact...at 15.0 feet...water approaches the Natchez Trace Parkway south of Kosciusko. Water floods lowlands near and around the Parkway.
