UPDATE: Congratulations!
Great capture.
UPdate: Congratulations!
a scratch. Perfect!
Congratulations on your AC.
Thanks much to the Approvers for the Blue on the Bears. Much appreciation.
Mama Bear was pretty daring to bring her cubs close to Taos DOWNTOWN !
Quite amazing and exciting !
CONGRATULATIONS on your AC, Gil !!!
Congratulations for the well deserved AC.
Congratulations on an outstanding AC and great series!
Linda: this is quite common in our area, Bears are around all summer not only here, but in the communities in our parts of the country, every year. They were quite active early part of summer, tho I had not seen any this year til now. They are just trying to fatten up for the winter. Kinda like my midnite snacks before going to bed.
Early part of the summer, just a short ways from home, one little Cub had to go right thru an outside wedding reception at a fancy hotel. Guess the Mama was not with him. (good thing).
I hope that no one was in danger!
Bill
Wow, but you were close! They say we will have
lots of bears coming down to town this year,
because it was so dry, their food supply was
quite short up in the mountains. I'm glad you
were right next to your car and ready to go,
but I'm glad you got these shots! AWESOME series,
Gil! Congratulations on your Blue for this one,
but it could have gone to any of them!
What a neat find.
Hope they are Ok.
