This young plum tree is setting on its first crop, which looks like a good one. However, I have not been able to keep up the spraying program as faithfully as I should; it seems every day, it either rains or is too windy to spray, and you can see that insects have already attacked these immature fruits.

Your plums are so far advanced, already. Hope
you `ll be able to do some spraying, soon.
Our plum trees are just blooming here - and there is still snow looking down from the higher elevations.
My crabapple did not bloom this year. Are there any general reasons for that? It was an abnormally warm winter and spring. The birds had eaten the fruit off early because there was little frost to preserve them from the birds.
