Matthew was born October 4, 2010... 13 days past my due date. I was happy to avoid the induction that was scheduled for the 7th. When I went into labor, we stayed at home as long as possible and Matthew was born 2 hours after we arrived at the hospital... no drugs, no epidural. I'm so proud of myself. He was 7lbs 9oz and 20 inches long. It's hard to believe he is already almost a month old.

7/21/2010:Well, I apparently don't have as much free time as I thought. I'm not sure what I do with my time... oh wait, taking care of a house, husband, dog, and 3 year old is actually quite a bit of work!Anyway, we now have a name for baby #2 -- Matthew Ryan. 7/15/09:Update: My life is not exciting. Brent goes to work everyday, while I stay home with John (who is 2). We play and read, go the the gym, and sometimes do stuff with our play group. I do laundry, dishes, and cleaning on a very regular basis. I love to cook and do so most nights. Occasionally I would like a break. Dinner out a couple times a month would be nice. 1/29: I did it... yes, I joined a gym. And, I love it. I dropped John off at the Kid's Club and was given a tour. I signed up and got in a quick 2 mile run on the treadmill. I went to pick up John and they said he was great the entire time! I knew he would be... he was already playing before I left the room and didn't miss me at all. It's actually kind of sad.
