Retired and loving it. If I'd have known about retirement befor I started my 40 year career with the government of Manitoba I'd have retired first. :)

Have a great Monday....
How great that you've finally received good enough weather to begin barbequing again! I must warn, however, in spite of charcoal grilling making foods seemingly taste better, it actually produces more carcinogens or risks to one's food and atmosphere. If you're able, it would be much safer to use a propane gas grill for outdoor cooking. Believe me, there are still safer ways to make your meats taste equally terrific! Just experiment with various sorts of delicious safe marinades or herbs.
We just had a drenching Nor'easter pass through here overnight into this am. Altogether, my area received 2.10 inches of rainfall. Everything now looks so lush and green, plus, our pollen count is practically nil at 1.10 out of 12.00. Last week's 11.80 out of 12.00 certainly gave our eyes and noses more than a run for the tissues.
Glad that May is just around the corner and, hopefully, with it, better weather and outdoor experiences for all. This last week of April, in Mass., is ending on a gloomier and more seasonably chilly note.
Of course, propane's the only answer on a boat - that's where I had most of my experience with it. Still like the old-fashioned way best.
