Nice site! I like the content and discussions. I was looking at the tropical wave off the coast of Venezuela and it looked like conditions were starting to become less favorable for development from just 12 hours ago. What do you guys/gals look for specifically for dvlpmnt? I know the SSTs in that area are fairly warm, but the wind shear has been heavy from the west at high altitudes for weeks in the Caribbean area and in a couple of days, the wave should be entering that area. Still looks like it might become a tropical depression though, if it can get that central spin and a lower-level L associated with it. Looks like a less active year this year for sure, but a LOT of time left to still be considered active. I have NO meteorological background so am here to learn. Thanx all!
