The far right love to claim that Obama is to Blame for the desperate increase in public debt held by our country. Even though graph after graph, facts after fact show this not to be the case. In that light I expect more facts and common sense to change little of their neanderthal beliefs because when all is said in done we will still have a President who is black and that is unacceptable to them. The following graphs will show, it wasn't bailouts nor a recession ending stimulus package nor a largess of government spending that has caused our federal debt to suffer momentous increases with the possibility of crippling our nation if left unchecked. I mention this now as flying under the radar is a Right Wing Republican plan to once again extend the Bush Tax cuts. I know people hate the fact that Bush, even out of office, still is criticized, but an unbiased view of his tenure will show that in many ways he has been the worst President to inhabit the office.

Note, without two unnecessary wars and without the Bush tax cuts, even with a recession our country today would be in less debt than in 2009.

Of course right wing nut jobs will tell you the purpose of these tax cuts were to spur the economy and create jobs. This is an outright lie.



The following is a graph detailing the Bush tax cut as compared to the alternative tax cuts democrats proposed. Please note the little difference that would affect the lives of the 99 percent. The average person did not get a tax break, they got a slap in the face.



As a result of these tax cuts the average American's income have not kept up with inflation while those that make the most have increased exponentially.

Notice the average increase in earnings and then compare it with the average yearly inflation chart. To keep up with inflation your net salary would have had to increase by over 25 percent from 2000 until 2010

In conclusion, it's not about share the wealth. It's not about decreasing the earning power of anyone or limiting anyone's earning power. It's simply about fairness.

Tea what you say makes sense to me, but in general, the "public" hates to look at graphs and charts. It's an immediate turn-off. If Obama is going to have a chance, he better articulate clearly what you are pointing out here, otherwise the population in general will gravitate towards those who yell the loudest, whether what they say is fact or fiction, or an "out-right lie", as you stated. I think the Right wing knows that and will continue what they are doing.

Link Senator Rand Paul Endorses Email Featuring A Rifle Aimed At President Obama’s Head (IMAGE)It has happened once again. The right-wing is advocating violence against President Obama and this time a Republican Senator is openly endorsing it.

This week, an email was sent out by the Virginia based National Association for Gun Rights that includes a message with the signature and image of Republican Senator Rand Paul, the son of Republican Presidential contender Representative Ron Paul. The email contained a false accusation against President Obama in an effort to scare gun owners against voting for Democrats in the upcoming November election. It also features a rifle aimed at President Obama’s head.

The email is a conspiracy theory laced plea for support that accuses President Obama of advocating for what these right-wing gun toting nut jobs call a ‘Million Rifle Ban.’ Even though no such initiative exists, nor has one ever been discussed or talked about by the President, Rand Paul and his cohorts want conservatives to believe that President Obama intends to round up and ban all firearms if he is re-elected in November.
