High pressure centered in the central Plains states will give us one more day of sunshine today. An approaching area of low pressure, currently centered in southern Saskatchewan, will move across Lake Superior tomorrow and its cold front will develop scattered thunderstorms across our area. There’s a slight risk of these thunderstorms becoming severe tomorrow as well. High temperatures should stay a few degrees above normal (normal = upper 60s) with highs in the 70s generally expected, although we could get close to 80 degrees tomorrow and again this weekend, and may struggle to get to 70 on Wednesday.
