Emily will no doubt be dealing with Sarah, at least in that office for sure. Emily in the process of participating in some of the summer orientation camps being offered. Emily not the most outgoing individual, shy I suppose, will be great for her to have a contact within the confines of the institution she can call on. Quite a process for sure, however she is certainly embracing the challenge.
No birds to watch this morning, reports of young on the ponds being heard. Geese haven`t been patrolling the lot, suspect they are also in the nesting mode by a long ways.
Otis has his house back to rights, looking great, must say some of it an improvement over the work done on the foundation 100 plus years ago.
Stay dry.

Heavy mist to rain here. At coffee break time (of course) it was really coming down. No wind - YET!
I am going to ask Sarah to keep an eye out for Emily. Don't mean to sound dumb but ... is she EMILY McPHERSON - same last name as you? Just so Sarah can recognize her name. She will have no shyness after my Sarah has her in hand. Apparently, Sarah will start the job in June - the day after she arrives home from Peru. Still have not been informed of the exact day???
Sarah back at her old job for this week only - at Kredls. Had to deliver a piping hot tea at lunch due to the fact that it is so damp - even in the greenhouses.
Sunday is graduation - and it is going to be a long day. Have to go to Sussex first to collect mother and then on up river to Fredericton - same on the return route. Extra hour and a half driving for sure.
Well, the house is screaming to be looked after as I was pretty slack the first part of week. Too nice outside. :)
Have a great day. Word.
SW to S breeze, not too much of it but quite wet for not having a steady rain. I managed to get in the last 2 days without getting rained on and now have a couple of days ashore to rest and recuperate.
I saw my first batch of ducklings on Monday morning as I went out to traps. Our fresh bait came from off Halifax, so it was not quite so fresh upon arrival. Somewhere along the line someone forgot to salt it down a bit. I will see how I did with it on Friday. Reports from SW NS of $4.50 for boat run and $3.50 for lobsters oversized for the US market.
Warm enough for the road to be littered with slugs and earthworms. The ground must be almost saturated for the worms to be heading to higher ground. One would think the robins would be having field day feasting on the worms in the road but nary a robin to be seen.
