The Flood Advisory continues for the Mississippi River at Osceola * until Saturday April 19. * At 10 am Wednesday the stage was 26.1 feet. * Flood stage is 28.0 feet. * Forecast...the river will rise to near 26.1 feet Wednesday April 16. * At 26.0 feet...Crutcher Lake Road is flooding near cold creek. Cold creek is going over its South Bank onto resort lots just east of Crutcher Lake Road. Water from the lower Forked Deer river has backing into Open Lake. Cold creek is now flowing south out of Open Lake. Jones Slough is about to back north over Grammer Road. Adams Slough has flooded Sam Taylor Road. Many sloughs are beginning to flood fields. Brandywine Camp begins to go under water.

The Flood Advisory continues for the Mississippi River at Caruthersville * until Friday April 18. * At 10 am Wednesday the stage was 30.5 feet. * Flood stage is 32.0 feet. * Forecast...the river will rise to near 30.5 feet Wednesday April 16. * At 31.0 feet...Road and field flooding is widespread at Cottonwood Point. Graim shipping facility south of Heloise is mostly under water. Access roads off Arkansas 362 are flooding. Dee Webb Road and Watkins Road are flooding, and Brady Ridge Road is flooding. Barr Road north of wardlow pocket area is being covered.

A record low temperature of 33 degrees was set at Tupelo yesterday. This ties the old record of 33 set in 2008.
