The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids has issued a frost
advisory... which is in effect from 2 am to 8 am EDT Sunday.

Hazardous weather...

* temperatures will dip into the middle 30s across central lower
   Michigan tonight.

* Areas of frost are expected after midnight.

Impacts...

* early season plants and Flowers will be susceptible to the cold
   readings and frost.

* Take precautions this evening to protect tender vegetation.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

* a frost advisory is issued when frost is expected to develop
during the growing season. Those with agricultural interests in
the advised area are advised to harvest or protect tender
vegetation. Also... potted plants normally left outdoors should
be covered or brought inside away from the cold.

* At 10 am Saturday the stage was 7.0 feet.
* Bankfull stage is 6.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall.
* Impact... at 6.0 feet... river is bankfull. Expect minor flooding of
low lying areas adjacent to the river
