The Flash Flood Watch has been expanded to include
* portions of central Arkansas and north central
Arkansas... including the following areas... in central
Arkansas... Conway. In north central Arkansas...
Fulton... Izard... sharp... stone and Van Buren.
* Through Tuesday evening
* showers and thunderstorms will build over the watch area
overnight. While precipitation is expected to weaken Tuesday
morning... storms will likely redevelop Tuesday afternoon. Areas
of heavy rain are likely through Tuesday. Rainfall amounts will
average between 1 to 2 inches with locally higher amounts in
excess of 4 inches possible.
* The atmosphere is abnormally moist... which will make
thunderstorms more efficient rainmakers. This will increase the
chances of excessive rain and high water problems.

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Be prepared to take action if a Flash Flood
Warning is issued.
