Beach winds.......... west 5 to 10 mph becoming southwest
10 to 15 mph.
UV index............. 8 or very high exposure.
Water temperature.... 85 degrees at Panama City Beach.
Beach temperature.... 88 to 91 degrees.
Surf height.......... 2 to 3 feet becoming 1 to 2 feet in the
afternoon Walton...Bay and Gulf counties.
1 foot or less Franklin County
Rip current risk..... Moderate.
Wind and surf conditions will support stronger and more frequent rip
currents today. During times of moderate rip current risk...persons
should enter the water only if they are experienced with swimming
in the surf. If caught in a rip current...swim parallel to
the shoreline until you are out of the seaward pull of the rip
current. Always consult the local beach flag system which may
show higher risk based on the observed conditions and the local
expertise of the beach patrol.

Beach winds.......... west 5 to 10 mph becoming southwest around
10 mph in the afternoon.
UV index............. 8 or very high exposure.
Beach temperature.... 86 to 89 degrees.
Surf height.......... 1 foot or less.
Rip current risk..... Moderate.

Note that the times of high and low tide are 3 minutes earlier at
Shell Point than at the Saint Marks River entrance.
